CSR, a Bluetooth chip design company, and SiRF Technology Holdings, Inc., a global positioning system chip design company, recently announced a merger plan to exchange their shareholdings. The combined company will become the top 10 fabless chip design company in the world, with an estimated annual revenue of about $1 billion.
